Steve is uniquely qualified to assist business buyers & sellers.  He has over 10 years of corporate transactional experience at various levels and with many different industries.  Steve's combination of corporate experience, business ownership experience and education position him well to serve those that are looking at buying or selling a business.

Corporate Experience
Steve has over a decade of corporate transactional experience that he draws upon in order to provide superior service to his clients and customers.  Steve is a former executive of a large Canadian telecomm company.  He has also worked in the consulting industry, in the field of business value measurement, for a major international consulting firm.

Prior to his consulting career, Steve worked in business banking for a large Canadian bank.  Steve understands and appreciates the financial needs of a privately owned business.

You get the best of both worlds dealing with Steve Skrlac.  In addition to his corporate experience, Steve is himself a former business owner and can relate to the challenges and opportunities that come from owning & operating a business.  He and his wife owned & operated successful companies for many years in the business services industry that they have since sold years ago (with a business broker).

Education
Steve has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Universityof Windsor and has obtained the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the Association of Investment Management and Research (AIMR).

Steve is a husband and proud father of two boys.  When he isn’t helping his clients buy or sell businesses, he enjoys jogging, reading and spending time with his family.  Steve is a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus and is active in community and charitable events.


Melanie Skrlac - Sales Representative


Melanie is a seasoned sales executive with many years of corporate and small business ownership experience.  A former corporate leasing manager, Melanie understands the financial realities that small business owners face.  She also is a former account executive for IBM and a major IBM reseller, servicing medium-sized companies across Canada.  Melanie has an impressive record of service in the community and brings the highest levels of professionalism, honesty and confidentiality to the profession.  She is herself a former small business owner, having bought and sold her own company, and speaks from first hand experience about the business sale process.  Melanie is passionate about helping people as they buy or sell their business and offers exceptional professional services.
